Wrigleyville offers so many choices for Chicago Cubs fans. The area is a destination for sports fans from around the world. So, if you are looking for places to go to grab a bite and a beer before the game, here are our top 10 places start your fun at the Old Ballpark.
10) Bar Louie - Great burgers and food menu, beer specials and a short walk from Clark Street location into the main gates of the park. A good choice close to the park.
9) Mullens Bar and Grill - Another close spot on Clark Street - A quick pint and a quick beer before the game with easy access inside and a quick walk to the game.
8) Dagostinois Pizza - Located on Addison and Southport a few blocks from the park, Dags offers great pizza and a full menu, outdoor seating and daily specials on beer. Park nbearby and walk to the park, or make it a deistination before the game.
7) Goose Island - Located on Clark Steet south of Addison, this brewery offers large TVs, a nice beer selection and a full menu. Stop by before the game and grab a table and a good start to your day at the ballpark.
6) Uberstein - This German themed bar located 1/2 block south of Addsion on Cornelia St, grab a large stein and a pretzel or bratwurst beofre the action begins at the park.
5) Yakzies Bar and Grill - 1 block North of Addison on Clark leads you to Yakzies. This classic spot offers a covered patio, cans of beer and a good selection of appetizers and quick pre-game specials.
4) Vines on Clark - With a great outdoor patio, roof garden and view of the ballpark, Vines offers sweet specials and a flavorful menu to help curb your appetite and whet your whistle before (or after) the game.
3) Captain Morgan's Club - YOu can't get any closer to the action here. Located outside the main gate of the ballpark right on Addison, next to the Harry Caray statue. Open for Home and Away games and a great spot to spend gameday.
2) Harry Cary's. This classic downtown Bar and Restuarant has added another location kiddie corner from Harry's statue and the Sheffile avenue entrance to the park. Large TVs and private party space make it a destination for your day at the park.
1) Sports Corner - The newly remodeled classic just East of the park on Addison and Sheffield. Stop here after you ride the "El" to the game for great food and beer specials daily. 3 levels of Sports, including private party space and rooftop specials.
